Everybody needs a vacation sometimes! This upcoming week is one for me (Hatton) and things are playing out that the podcast can't be recorded.
So we thank everyone for following the show and invite you to join us next weekend when we pick things back up! If you're dying for a conservative political podcast to listen to this week, here are a few that I listen to:
The Zoo Radio Show is a weekly show that records on Tuesdays at 8:30pm
Oatney on the Air is an off-schedule show by David Oatney
The Truth and Hope Report is a blog and podcast by Adam Graham
Additionally, here are some of the articles that have been shared in the past week - depending on the news cycle they may or may not make it in to next week's show:
After Sensationalized TV Report, Vandals Strike Nashville Mosque - This is an example of the fact that regardles of how well educated and "tolerant" a society can become, there is still ignorance, fear and hatred.
Cocaine found hidden among Valentine roses - I've heard of an intoxicating smell but come on!
Christian speech targeted as 'hate' - From the article - The note said, "You people are like the KKK but only in the form of religion ... you should be ashamed of yourselves." Guess the statement I made on the first article applies to this one as well - only this time the hatred seems to be coming from people that are demanding "tolerance."
NY boy, 11, faces charges over pencil attack - Right, let's arrest the students using pencils as weapons, not the ones using guns, knives and drugs. Great choice!
New York Senate Expels Monserrate Over Assault - Here's a lesson for anyone that wants to be in the New York Assembly - don't beat on your girlfriend... it could loose you your job!
Governor Paterson: "only way I'm leaving early is in a box""The only way I’m not going to be governor next year is at the ballot box, and the only way that I'll be leaving before is in a box..." BEST. QUOTE. EVER.
Comptroller: School reserves too rich - Given the economic crisis in New York, I don't blame the schools for stockpiling money. It's a bitch of a thing to have half your budget disappear.
Beer May Be Good for Your Bones - To quote Benjamin Franklin: "Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."
Have a great weekend everyone and be sure to join us for the podcast next week!
