Wow, talking about making life difficult indeed! First, there have been technical issues with TalkShoe for the last two weeks. Then we throw in my own verbal malfunctions during the show, and the subjects and excellent turnout made this an episode that was fun and frustrating at the same time. We had great input from all of our guests, both in TalkShoe and in Second Life. If you haven't been able to make a live recording session, I'd invite you to do so!
We did work very hard to keep the conversation civil. Sometimes we didn't stay on the list of articles but that just added spice to the conversation. Definitely worth the listen. One administrative note. Due to technical confusion, last week's episode did not make it to the Red State Talk Radio network on time. It will be running until Wednesday, when this episode will replace it. We'll be back on schedule there starting with the next episode.

Episode 151a: Election Night coverage
We waited until 9pm Eastern for the polls in New York to close before we started, but once we did it was a fun time with special guests Adam Graham of the Truth & Hope Report and Kirk and "Shamrock" Jim of The Zoo Radio Show. Clocking in at 2 1/2 hours, this episode included results, analysis and robo-calls! Special closing music was "When You're Holding a Hammer" thanks to Adam for pointing it out to me and courtesy of the folks at http://holdingahammer.com/.

Episode 150: A Glimpse Beyond
Prompted by the user submitted article by Shoramin, we begin to look forward past the November elections, to see some of the things that are already being discussed about the next two years. Additionaly, we had some "current" items to catch up on, including the fact that, "the rent is too damn high."

Here are the articles for the Episode 148. We'll be recording live at 8:30pm Eastern if you want to join in.
Many times in the news, "we'll see you in court," is the response I hear from union leaders or activists. It seems that the judiciary have more power than most elected officials. To some, they can tell the sun to rise in the west. Tonight we discuss a sampling of recent judicial activity and what it means to you and me.

Articles for Episode 147: Are we Justified?
Here are the articles for the Episode 147. We'll be recording live at 8:30pm Eastern if you want to join in.
We're almost a month away from the mid-term elections and it seems like every bit of new news on old things keeps crawling out. We've got "Mad as Hell" Paladino, "I didn't do it" Democrats and "We're going to change" Republicans. A lot of people are angry, many are indignant and quite a few are worried and weary about where November 3 will find us. This and more will be discussed on tonight's show.
