Episode 267: But Will It Work?
This week we looked at a few different issues and proposals that are being discussed and asked the question, "but will it work?" It's a very lively discussion on immigration, health care and perceptions. We didn't make it through all the articles per-se so look for some topics to come up again in the future.

Episode 252: Internet and Foreign Policies
A lot of fun in this episode, with David Oatney as well as a round-table of Shorahmin, Toawa, Joesf and Tom from Secondlife. David is a Tennessee State House Examiner, Western Religion and Elections examiner for Examiner.com. We didn't manage to get through all of the articles but rather jumped through two different sets of subjects.

Episode 221: Where is Our Apology?
Ya know, it really helps when I actually post the podcast episode to the website in a timely manner! Sorry for the delay in getting this one online folks! We had some fun talking about a variety of things that officials (or public figures) apologized for and other things that will never get one.

One interesting impact of not posting the episode until later is the fact that I get to include a comment thread I received via IM from one of our regular listeners:

D: I don't listen to Randi myself...I find her too harsh. but I don't think your comparison holds water. Rush is on what, 6,000 stations and is in the news virtually every day. Randi is on what, 6? She might talk a lot of trash, but if it's under the radar, nobody will ever pay attention to it.
ECC: That's akin to saying nobody's going to listen to the pastor of a small church that says he's going to have a Qua'ran BBQ, right?Want to add to the conversation? You can comment here, on FaceBook or email conservativepodcast@gmail.com!

Episode 172: They Said It!
In this episode we repeated some things that other folks have said and discussed them. Now, we do not necessarily going to agree with them, but what has been said deserves repeating, if nothing else so they can be taken as a warning of idiocy that can exist in the human mind!

Tonight marks the beginning of our third year in the podcast! We celebrate by recording the show late and praying that everything comes together... which is how things started in the first place. Rather than ponder the past, we're looking at some current issues that are pushing more buttons with the general public.

Episode 98: They'll Let Anyone In These Days
I think the title of this week's show says it all. This week has seen articles about suicide bomber attempts, co-ed sub crews, Taliban leadership in Afghanistan, the suggested removal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell and the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to Obama. All of this is great discussion fodder! In tonight's show we were also joined by Caleb, owner of QuestionObama.com. He explains the purpose and direction that his site is going. We're going to be joining him in some of those efforts too! For those who normally listen to the show live in SecondLife or via the web, you'll already know that tonight was filled with technical issues. Talkshoe's recording system didn't work though it allowed us to call in so tonight's show had to be recorded a slightly different way. It all worked out in the end

Episode 88: Study Ships Stimulates Steins
Tonight's show turned out to be right on track, even with a very busy weekend by both hosts! We had good interaction with a smaller crowd than usual; It doesn't help when the usual invites don't get sent out in a timely manner - the downside of a couple of hosts with active summer schedules! We now have a discussion forum at RepublicanOperative.com that you can access it by going to http://www.republicanoperative.com/forums/ecc-podcast-episodes/. Also, our facebook page is up and running and of course we have our store at Printfection.com/eccstuff. Thank you for your continued support and participation with the show. We also have a voice comment line! You can use the "Call Me" button to leave a voice comment at any time. We did manage to have good time on tonight's show, though! Here are the articles we discussed:
- Warship honors Marine who died protecting comrades
- State study to analyze reuniting communities
- AP IMPACT: Little help in stimulus for bad bridges
- Harvard prof, arresting policeman to talk again
- Obama's revealing body language
- Finally, rich people start to pay their dues
