Episode 213: Heating Up in the Winter
This episode gave us a good chance to step back and take a look at what campaigns are doing on both sides of the aisle. We talked about Obama's moves that, from our lens look like pure political steps as well as some of the things being said or done by GOP candidates. The only one we didn't have a story for was Mitt, who didn't really make any headlines this week.

Episode 206: So Many Bad Ideas, So Little Time
Well folks, this time the show definitely did not go where it was originally planned! Oh sure, we got through the opening article with all of its puns and groans, but after that, a completely different topic took center stage. Luckily, it still falls in line with the "Bad idea" theme of the episode so the title didn't change. Most everything else did.

Episode 193: Claims and Ammunition
There were some technical issues with this episode that delayed it from being released. Regular listeners will notice a difference in the audio quality, turns out my system decided not to use the fancy mixer and reverted to the internal microphone on my laptop for the show. I've corrected that for next week!
Some times in battle, the best move is to wait for the opponent to either implode or for their members to turn on them when the game changes pace. Then again, sometimes you have to take a serious look at your own side. Tonight we talk about the ammo being provided by politicians from both sides, and the insanity or opportunity it represents.
This episode, like many others, didn't make it through all of the articles for the evening. There were some particularly good points raised, and Bachmann's "$2 Gas" coupled with comments I heard on Bob Brinker's Money Talk about an economist suggesting that an executive order forcing all new federal fleet vehicles to run on natural gas would have just about that impact made for some interesting conversation.

Episode 189: More Polls, More Candidates
There was a bit of post-production work that had to be put in to releasing this episode. For those that were with us during the recording session, thank you for your patience and you'll note that not much actually got cut out in the edit. Quite a fun show with a reference to a line from "Squonk the Apprentice" as released by EscapePod.
We also released news about an event in October being put on by our friends at Conservatives On the Move PAC! Ken and I will be attending this event and podcasting for as much of it as we can. There is the originally scheduled talk with Col. Oliver North as well as a scheduled GOP Presidential Candidate debate. We will be releasing more information as it comes available.
