Wow! This turned into quite the heated conversation, with the whole crew including Naj and our long-lost friend TriSec joining in. While there's no question about the control aspect of the items raised, there were some about the source and drivers.

Articles for Episode 273: It's About Control
A common phrase in the gun control debate is, "it's not about guns, it's about control." That rings true there, but it's true in almost every area the government is taking special interest in these days. In this episode we're going to talk about a number of different areas where this is starting to be more plain.

Episode 161: Meaningful Dialog
Even before the shooting in Arizona, this episode was gearing towards a discussion on the concept of meaningful dialog. That shooting changed the tone but not the concept of the discussion.

Episode 138: Consideration
We're back with a new location in SecondLife and somewhat refreshed from the vacation! Tonight's episode was a bit bumpy but a whole lot of fun.
I'm not going to ask, "why did they do this," for the articles tonight. Instead I'm going to ask, "did they consider the consequences?" In most cases the answer is a resounding, "no."

Episode 134: This is Called Fixing Things
Okay, so maybe the title is a bit sarcastic. In this week's episode we're going to discuss some of the things that have been put out to "fix" problems. Regardless of the circumstance, the solution is highly suspect!

Episode 102: Are Ya Angry Yet?
The thought would be that with the positive election results in Virginia and New Jersey it'd be time to celebrate, right? Well, not willing to take anything lying down the Democrats and their allies are still at it - doing things that are getting the rest of America more and more angry. Tonight we're going to touch on a handful of different items, starting with a few things that don't make us angry and moving on from there. Might want to have a paramedic on standby for tonight's show!

Episode 99: Friends in Low Places
In tonight's episode we're going to cover, among other things, those people that our President has seen fit to surround himself with. That they are democrats is expected. That they are liberals is no big surprise either. Some of the things that have come out about them, especially now, is astounding.

Episode 98: They'll Let Anyone In These Days
I think the title of this week's show says it all. This week has seen articles about suicide bomber attempts, co-ed sub crews, Taliban leadership in Afghanistan, the suggested removal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell and the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to Obama. All of this is great discussion fodder! In tonight's show we were also joined by Caleb, owner of QuestionObama.com. He explains the purpose and direction that his site is going. We're going to be joining him in some of those efforts too! For those who normally listen to the show live in SecondLife or via the web, you'll already know that tonight was filled with technical issues. Talkshoe's recording system didn't work though it allowed us to call in so tonight's show had to be recorded a slightly different way. It all worked out in the end
