Wow! This turned into quite the heated conversation, with the whole crew including Naj and our long-lost friend TriSec joining in. While there's no question about the control aspect of the items raised, there were some about the source and drivers.

Articles for Episode 273: It's About Control
A common phrase in the gun control debate is, "it's not about guns, it's about control." That rings true there, but it's true in almost every area the government is taking special interest in these days. In this episode we're going to talk about a number of different areas where this is starting to be more plain.

Episode 252: Internet and Foreign Policies
A lot of fun in this episode, with David Oatney as well as a round-table of Shorahmin, Toawa, Joesf and Tom from Secondlife. David is a Tennessee State House Examiner, Western Religion and Elections examiner for Examiner.com. We didn't manage to get through all of the articles but rather jumped through two different sets of subjects.

Episode 223: Taps, Tabs and Threats
Well, this was a really fun episode with a ton of listener interaction and news articles that, for whatever reason, don't seem to make the evening news. We even had two of our regular listeners join in for the last part of the show.

Episode 174: Obscuring the Way
Well, the guys on the Hill managed to postpone a shutdown after a week of media frenzy, finger pointing and crying talk show hosts. In this episode we talk about some of the things that were going on at the same time and give a touch of time to the finer points of the shutdown discussion.

Episode 171: Paying Attention to the Edges
It’s time again for us to look at the news stories that are being overshadowed by Japan, Lybia and the associated fallout.
Tonight was a fun show and an example of how Ken and I don’t always agree. We had fun talking about a number of different issues, pontificating the concepts of 2012 and got stuck on the concept of what to do about the Somali pirates.

Episode 116: Beer, Branding and Bruising
We're back after a week off with a few interesting tales to tell and articles to talk about. There is a particular graphic that I wanted to discuss tonight - one that I had mentioned two weeks ago.
Before we got into that, there were some other stories that had to be discussed - the links to them are below.
Tonight's show was a bit bumpy - Ken and I were both exhausted. Additionally, some of the articles I originally found were from previous battles between Kay Bailey Huchison and Rick Perry. We also had a great crowd in the Talkshoe chat room with had good comments and conversation. For those that can't join in on the live recordings, we are working on a way to deliver the transcripts via the web after the show. For now, you just have to put up with me reading those comments I feel bear repeating.
